Desi D is a writer of dark speculative Fiction: mostly fantasy, sci-fi, and horror, with a splash of a thriller feel. She has an M.F.A. in Writing Popular Fiction from Seton Hill University and an overactive imagination and stories to tell. For her writing was inevitable. It was the only way to satisfy the voices inside her head. Every character wants their story told, and she will write as many of them as she can. Her characters face terrible hardships and have to overcome near-impossible situations. Her stories should come with an R rating with reader discretion advised. They portray violence, abuse, assault, trauma, and dark humor both on and off the page.

 

When Desi D is not writing, she is dreaming of faraway places and the people who live there. She lives in the beautiful state of Colorado where she was born and raised with her cats.
